Globally, 3.9 percent of applicants reached an interview and 1.2 percent received an offer.

Volume by country changes the arithmetic underneath those rates. French employers received 93 applications per role and interviewed 2.2 percent of them. German employers received 48 and interviewed 5.4 percent. Neither figure has anything to do with how good your CV is.
